Volunteer Swimming Instructor / Aurora Family Leisure Complex / Aurora, ON
– Worked directly with swimmers across a wide range of ages and skill levels, supervising participants in and around the pool, reinforcing safety rules and instructor directions, and providing individual support to swimmers who needed additional guidance or encouragement
– Assisted instructors with teaching swimming lessons by demonstrating strokes, kicks, floating, breathing techniques, and other skills; helped swimmers practice activities, improve their technique, and build confidence and comfort in the water
– Supported the safe and organized operation of each class by ensuring all swimmers exited the pool safely and on time, assisting with class transitions, setting up and putting away swimming equipment, and tidying and organizing the pool deck after lessons

MARCH 2025
Neighbourhood Community Cleanup / Aurora, ON
– Participated in a community cleanup initiative by collecting litter and helping clean and maintain shared public spaces.
